This Privacy Policy describes how Humidor Etc., a division of Quadriom Son & Image Inc. ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects the personal information of users ("you") of the Humidor AI mobile application ("the App") and the associated website.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the App:

• Account information: email address and password used to create your account (via Supabase authentication).
• Profile information: smoker archetype, taste preferences, and quiz responses you provide voluntarily.
• Inventory data: cigars, spirits, humidors, and tasting notes you enter into the App.
• Photos: images you upload for cigar identification or humidor photos, stored securely via Supabase Storage.
• Usage data: pairing history, journal entries, and app interactions used to personalize your experience.
• Technical data: device type, operating system, and app version for diagnostic purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide core App functionality: cigar identification, pairing recommendations, humidor and bar management.
• To personalize your daily recommendations based on your smoker profile and inventory.
• To process subscription payments via RevenueCat (Android) and Apple In-App Purchase (iOS).
• To communicate service updates, account information, or support responses.
• To improve the App through anonymized usage analytics.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Supabase – authentication and cloud data storage.
• Anthropic Claude API – AI processing for cigar identification and pairing generation. Images and text are transmitted to Anthropic servers for processing and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the processing request.
• RevenueCat – subscription management on Android.
• Apple In-App Purchase – subscription management on iOS.
• Vercel – backend API hosting.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers with row-level security (RLS) enforced — your data is only accessible by your authenticated account. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Withdraw consent to data processing.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (applicable in the EU/EEA and Québec).

7. Cookies and Tracking

The App itself does not use cookies. The Humidor AI website may use minimal analytics cookies to understand traffic. No advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels are used.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
